Where are your boots made?
Urban Shepherd Boots are made at a small, family-owned workshop in Benedita, Portugal, the traditional home of Portuguese shoemaking, that has been making boots for five generations.
How are your boots made?
Our highly skilled artisans use time-tested construction techniques. Every pair of Urban Shepherd Boots features a genuine leather midsole and heel counter, a hand-laid cork footbed, a hand-shaped stacked leather heel, and Genuine Goodyear Welt Construction, a durable welt process that allows our boots to be re-soled repeatedly.
Where do you source your materials?
All of our leather is sourced locally in nearby Alcanena, Portugal, the birthplace of Portugal’s leather industry. Sometimes called the “Land of Leather”, the first Portuguese tanneries were established there in the 16th century. The other materials we use are sourced from high-quality suppliers located both locally and abroad.
Can your boots be re-soled?
Yes, because of the Genuine Goodyear Welt Construction, our boots are fully re-constructible. They can be re-soled repeatedly.
What size would I be in your boots?
Our boots run true to size. If you are a half size, we suggest ordering the next size up. To confirm your size, compare your foot measurements to our size chart which can be found on each product page. Please feel free to contact us at email@example.com with any questions as well.

Products are shipped from the United States.
Do you ship to my country?

How much is international shipping?
Shipping to other countries will be calculated at checkout.
What else should I expect from international orders?
You will be responsible for paying all customs fees and taxes associated with importing our products into your country. Please contact us for additional details regarding your international order.
All special orders are placed directly with our workshop in Portugal where your boots are produced especially for you. Most orders are received in an estimated 4 to 6 weeks from the order date, but timing can vary due to international shipping and customs. We will keep you updated via email. Once your order is here in the USA and ready to ship to you, an email will be sent with your tracking information. What is the delivery time for my order?
Most in stock orders ship next business day. Orders shipped within the continental United States are typically delivered within 3-5 days. Orders shipped outside the continental United States are typically deliver within 10-12 days. Expedited shipping is available for an additional charge.
How much are the shipping costs?
We offer free shipping within the continental United States for orders over $175. Shipping rates for all other countries will be calculated at checkout.
How do I know if my item has shipped?
You will be emailed an order confirmation upon receipt of your order. Once your order has shipped, you will be emailed a shipping confirmation with tracking information.
Can I track my item?
Yes, all deliveries can be tracked. You can find your tracking number in your shipping confirmation email.
Can I return any purchased items?
Of course, we accept returns and exchanges on all product except outlet boots. The customer is responsible for all shipping fees to return your order. If you are unhappy with your purchase, we will issue a refund or exchange as soon as we receive your return, provided the item is returned to us within 15 days and is unworn, undamaged and in the original packaging. All returns must also include a return authorization number in order to be processed. To start the process, please email email@example.com.
How do I know you've received my returned items?
We will send a confirmation email when we have received your returned items. This process may take 1-3 days from when we receive the items.
Can I return Aged by Fire customize boots?
If a product is customized for you with our “Aged by Fire” process, it is not returnable. We ask that you measure your feet and compare the measurements with our Size Chart . If you still have doubts, please contact us. We will help you find the perfect fit!
